Audio Post Delivery Specs
When delivering materials to RootChord Sound for sound editorial and/or mixing, please ensure you provide the following:
Picture-locked reference video in H.264 or MP4 format.
This should include timecode burn and 2-pop for proper sound sync. 1080p resolution is preferable. Please confirm picture frame rate upon delivery.Audio should be delivered in an AAF file. Please ensure all tracks/mics are present in the AAF file for mixing/editing. This should be a linked AFF with unprocessed audio (no rendered effects like reverb/EQ, etc). Please ensure both the audio files folder and the AAF file are included. Please use the maximum available handle length for audio files when exporting the AAF. Please avoid collapsing multiple microphones onto a single track.
